Yacht Charter in Cuba

Cuba is an Island of natural beauties; endowed with rich historic and cultural background. This charming Island has a unique peculiarity that stems from the blend of its colonial past coupled with its Amerindian and African roots. Christopher Columbus, when he discovered the Island in 1492, described it as, “…the most beautiful land one has ever seen”. Cuba indeed remains a charming beauty till date, and a perfect environment to enjoy your yacht charter vacations.
This nature’s beauty is located between the Caribbean Sea and the Atlantic Ocean; it’s the largest country in the Caribbean, and only 90 miles from Key West, Florida. Being one of the world's most beautiful crewed superyacht charter destinations, Cuba boasts of a majestic coastline stretching far beyond three and a half thousand miles, and having about 289 natural beaches. On the northern coast, it's white powdery sand beaches and turquoise waters of the Atlantic Ocean act like a magnet for yacht charter lovers. The beaches in the south are less populated with tourists, making them perfect spots for serenity and privacy.
There's just so much to tickle your fantancy on this part of the Caribbean during your yacht charter vacation; the favorably warm climate all-year round, steady winds, and the kind-hearted, friendly and receptive people, to mention but a few. Cuba is indeed home to sailors, tourists, visitors and everyone alike. The country lies at the border of the tropics, therefore has two seasons; comprising of the relatively drier and cooler season from November to April, and the relatively warmer and more humid season between May and October; which has dry and particularly hot stretches in July and August. So you’ve got absolutely nothing to worry about as far as climatic condition is concerned.
The island has a reliable nautical infrastructure, which regularly receives and enjoys support from the government. About 20 marinas and nautical centers all around Cuba gladly receive yachts from all countries or continents, and offer a very wide range of services; as much as you can imagine. This gorgeous island is indeed a haven to spend ones luxury yacht charter vacation. To the sailor, the entire coast and off-lying islands are fully accessible with one exception; the Playa Giron, or Bay of Pigs, scene of the ill-fated 1961 invasion to overthrow Fidel Castro.
There are a host of breathtaking services to enjoy, as well as fascinating locations to visit during your vacation at Cuba. One of such places is the Marina Hemingway in Havana. Havana is the island’s capital and major hotspot; a stroll around this gorgeous city would wow you. You might also want to consider walking along the Malecon sea wall where the friendly locals like to treat themselves to partying and salsa dancing at weekends. Other enthralling places you shouldn’t miss visiting while at Havana are the Capitol building, Catedral de San Cristobal, John Lennon Park and Museum of the Revolution. As recognized by UNESCO in 1982, a few Cuban cities particularly Havana and Trinidad are famous for their rich colonial architectural heritage. Cuba’s beautiful variety of landscapes, mixing mountains, agricultural valleys and infinite sandy beaches, make it a delectable destination for anyone who would like to spend their yacht charter vacation on a fabulous island.
Another stunning Cuban city to visit is Cienfuegos; this is one of Cuba’s largest and most prosperous cities. Known for entertainment, relaxation and fun, the city boasts of rich Cuban culture. It is also a nerve center for shopping activities. You may also decide to charter a yacht from Cienfuegos on Cuba’s south coast and explore this beautiful and developing cruising ground. One of the great and exciting thing about a sailing yacht charter vacation is that guests have the flexibility to decide from one day to the next what they would like to do. So you always get to visit more places and have more fun than you anticipate.
During your yacht charter vacation on this island, you could also treat yourself to Cuba's tasty delicasies of rock lobsters, dishes of chicken and pork accompanied by brown rice, fried bananas, sweet potatoes and lots more. There's never a dull moment on this beautiful island. You'd also have the opportunity to see and buy their reasonably priced, nice-fragrant cigars directly from the factory, but which can only be taken back in limited quantities!  Furthermore, enjoying lots of salsa band music and dances during your vacation here can be both entertaining, and rewarding.
If walking or strolling around aint really your style, no worries! One of the interesting things about spending a yacht charter vacation at Cuba is the plenty of separate, spacious decking for sunbathing, soaking in a hot tub, having a cocktail or two while reading your favourite novel, as well as for sumptuous dining. Many luxury yachts have their own private theatres where you can watch a blockbuster movie on a screen at your own convenience. Crew members on most yacht do their best to provide guests with a five star hospitality service on mega yacht charters. Even more interesting is the fact that many vessels now offer standard professional relaxation services, on board, like having their own beauticians, masseurs and even diving instructors all for your comfort and maximum pleasure.
There just never seems to be an end to the fun, fascinating sights and all, on the charming Island. If you still got time to spare, ensure you sail for the Varadero region; one of the well-known tourist areas in Cuba. It has pristine beaches, clear waters and the island's only 18-hole golf course - the Villa Du Point Golf Course. Other places include the Bellamar Caves and Parque Josone, a funfair park great for the kids, giving them the lifetime opportunity to swim with dolphins. You might also want to try something a little different during your Cuban yacht charter vacation - the deep-sea fishing; you might just be fortunate to catch different kinds of marlin!
